WM “Harvey” Nichols, 80, passed away on October 1, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born in Bonanza, Arkansas on April 29, 1935 to Albert Eugene and Arzena (Smith) Nichols.
Harvey proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in April 29, 1956. He served as an electrician for the U.S. Navy before beginning his career as a machinist and retiring at Tinker AFB.
Harvey met his wife, Theresa (Caven) and they were married on June 29, 1996 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
He enjoyed fishing and listening to good music which consisted of artists such as Bob Wills and Porter Wagoner. Over the years, Harvey or “Hard Knuckles”, as he was known by his friends, helped many people thru life’s struggles.
Harvey is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Theresa; one son, Gene and two brothers, Paul E. McCoy and Albert Eugene “Bud” Nichols, Jr. He is survived by one brother, David Nichols and his wife Brenda of Oklahoma City, Ok and many nieces and nephews.
