Wilburn C. Hall, Jr., “Captain Bill”, was born June 30, 1941 in Pilot Point, Texas to Wilburn Clay and Fern (Pennington) Hall. He passed at the age of 74 on February 22, 2016. Bill joined the United States Army in 1964 and left the service as a Captain in Special Intelligence five years later. The name “Captain Bill” has stuck ever since. Bill received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Oklahoma and practiced law for 40 years. He loved motorcycles, airplanes, and Ozzie’s Diner. He lived an active, adventurous, and colorful life with an indomitable spirit!
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Andrea Lee Hall. He is survived by: companion, Pama Ferchau; daughters Lisa Hall Hare and husband Steve of Norman, Jessica Hall Upchurch and husband Matthew of Ft. Worth, and Jamie Hall Duke and husband Scott of Norman; and grandchildren Foster Hare, Clay Upchurch, Benjamin “Benji” Upchurch, and Scarlet Duke.
