Tenia Gay Davis

Tenia Gay Davis, 67, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at her home on July 3, 2025.

Born in Cordell, Oklahoma, Tenia was the daughter of the late Frank and Ernistine (Husband) Russell. She married the love of her life, Gary Davis, on June 1, 1978, in her hometown of Cordell. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, family, and memories.

Tenia had a zest for life and found great joy in traveling and visiting the casino. Her warmth, sense of humor, and generous heart touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Gary Davis; her loving daughter, Amber Chapman, and son-in-law Bryn; and her cherished grandchildren, Frankie and Weston, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her brothers, Mark and Nolan; sisters-in-law Tammy, and Michelle; nieces Morgan, Madison, and Allison; nephews Tyler, Denver, Reid, Reace, Rylan, and Bobby; great-nieces Madilyn, Berkley, Ruthie, Kreidience, and Kourtland; and great-nephew Carter.

Tenia was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ernistine Russell.

A celebration of Tenia’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2025, at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle, Oklahoma, with Pastor Bruce Christian officiating.

Tenia will be remembered for her kind spirit, love of family, and the joy she brought to every room she entered. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
