In Loving Memory of Taylen French April 28, 2023 – February 15, 2026
With broken hearts and immeasurable love, we announce the passing of Taylen French, age 2, who left this world on February 15, 2026, in Kingfisher.
Born on April 28, 2023, to his devoted parents, Braydon and Shelby French, Taylen brought light, laughter, and boundless joy into the lives of everyone who knew him. In his short but incredibly meaningful life, he taught those around him the purest form of love — the kind given freely, joyfully, and often with a big kiss to make sure everyone felt special.
Taylen had a heart full of wonder. He loved Cars — especially Lightning McQueen — along with Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, OU Sooners, animals of every kind, and the beauty of the moon and stars above. He found happiness in life’s simplest treasures: jumping on his trampoline, racing down slides, swinging high at the park, and helping bring in groceries — even the heavy sacks that dragged along the ground as he proudly carried them.
One of his greatest joys was taking turns with his sister being lifted high into the air by his mom, Shelby — moments filled with giggles and pure delight. He loved having his picture taken, painting and coloring beside his mommy, and filling every room with his contagious laughter. Taylen had a way of creating joy in any moment, and his bright spirit left a lasting imprint on every heart he touched.
Though his time here was far too short, Taylen’s love was deep and his impact immeasurable. He will forever be remembered for the happiness he spread so effortlessly and the warmth he gave so generously.
A celebration of Taylen’s beautiful life will be held on February 21, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at Alameda Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Warren Cemetery for those who wish to attend.
In honor of Taylen, the family kindly asks that those attending wear something he loved — Lightning McQueen, Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, OU Sooners, animals, or anything bright and colorful — just as joyful as he was.
Though we cannot hold him in our arms, we will forever hold him in our hearts. His laughter echoes in eternity, and his light will never fade.
Forever our sweet boy.
