Serena Dean Powell was born on Nov. 21, 1927 in Prague, OK to James Howard McKinnon and Rachel (Dillon) McKinnon. She passed away on Sept. 17, 2017 in Norman, OK.
Survivors include: three daughters: Catiana McKay, Patty Thomas and husband Randy, and Cindy Luster and husband Steve; two sons: Ron Powell and wife Debbie and Kevin Powell; eleven grandchildren: Ross Miller, Christie Steele, Brian Powell, Angela Luster, Ashlee Meese, Teresa Richardson, Jessica Davis, Alexandria Renick, Chris Luster, Kyle Powell, and Lynsee Haizlip; eight great-grandchildren: Brody, Dillon, Mackenzie, Hunter, Greyson, Vivienne, Gabriel, and Wylee.
Serena was preceded in death by: her husband, Ernest; her parents; two brothers: Howard & James; and three sisters: Viola, Doris, and Maurine.
