Raymond Gorzney

Raymond Lee Gorzney, 72 was born on August 8, 1952 to Vince and Myrtle (Dolly) Gorzney in Paducah, Kentucky. He passed away on December 15, 2024 at OU Medical Center surrounded by Molly, Josh, and Amanda. 

Raymond loved golf and rock and roll music. Cedardell Golf Club in Plano, IL was his home away from home and he loved his golfing friends. He lived his life on his terms and was allowed to die with grace and dignity. 

 Survivors include his wife Maureen (Molly) Gorzney of Norman, Oklahoma; two sons, Kyle Gorzney of Florida, and Josh (Amanda) Gorzney of Edmond, Oklahoma; as well as two half-sisters Pat Tipton and Shirley Dykema of Mt. Carrol, Illinois; his niece Amber (Scott) Clark and their daughters Lexi, Ali, and Breanna of Plano, IL. 

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date in Illinois.
