Patricia Ann Webb

February 28, 1928 — July 13, 2022

Patricia Ann Webb went to be with her Lord and Savior July 13, 2022. Pat was born February 28, 1928 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Murrell C. and Bessie F. Rogers.
She graduated in 1946 from Classen High School in Oklahoma City. She attended the University of Oklahoma for two years, where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority.
Pat married Edward “Mokey” Webb on December 17, 1948 in Oklahoma City, OK. They lived in Roswell, NM, Oklahoma City, OK, and Ponca City, OK before settling in Norman, OK in 1964.
The First Christian Church in Norman was important in the Webb family life. Pat was a deacon, active in the Charm Group, and volunteered in many other leadership roles. Her belief in Christ and Christian service was manifest in her 17 years of service as a volunteer at Norman Regional Hospital. She worked several years at Norman High School in the counselor’s office. Thereafter, she became an administrative assistant to the Dean of the OU library for 14 years.
Pat was a devoted Sooner fan, being a season ticket holder for football, basketball, and women’s baseball. She also loved to attend many theatrical performances. She loved to travel and play bridge with her many dear friends.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Carol Young (Steve) sons, Edward M. Webb, Jr. (Sue) and David R. Webb (Valerie); grandchildren: Thomas Martin (Jennifer), Amanda Webb Rowe (David), Edward M. Webb, III (Jade), Ryan Webb (Rachel), and Chelsea Vick (Matthew); and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband Mokey Webb; sister Shirley Johnston; and first born grandchild Ashley Martin.
