Pamela Denise Patrick-Wood was born on March 24, 1972, in Denton to Marcia Jean Davis and Norman Screws Patrick. She passed from this life on June 27, 2025, at the age of 53.

Pam grew up in Texas before moving to Oklahoma. Her childhood was spent making memories with family whom she truly adored. Her dream of becoming a mother was fulfilled when she was 25 years old, sharing the same age as both her child and her mother, who also became mothers at age 25.

Pam battled numerous health conditions for more than half of her life, but she tried everything she could to hide her pain from those around her. Though she was placed on hospice twice in her lifetime, she fought hard and was released from treatment both times. Pam never gave up hope of becoming healthy again. Being a devout Christian, she knew she could lean on the Lord and Pam spent the remainder of her days here on earth sharing the good news of Christ with others.

Her entire world changed when she learned she would become a grandmother, something she never thought she would experience in this life. Being “Gigi” healed a part of Pam that she did not know was broken.

The Lord called her home just a couple of months after the one-year anniversary of losing her own mother. Her heart had been broken since losing her best friend. This first Mother’s Day without her is to honor everything she has done for me, her daughter. She thought it all over, she got it just right. She made me feel special, I was her delight.

Those waiting for Pam in heaven are Marcia Jean Davis (mother), Samuel Eugene Putman (stepfather), Betty Jo Davis (grandmother), Tyler Quinn Durham (nephew), Brandon Warren (cousin), Derek Alan Huddleston (cousin), and all who departed before them.

Those left behind include her only child, and the ones she called her own: Angel Krausnick, Timothy Wright Jr., Lynae Krausnick, Alyssa Krausnick, Grace Wright (grandchild), Todd Patrick (brother), Norman Patrick (father), Sharon and Randy Warren (aunt and uncle), Dorothy Huddleston (aunt), along with many other relatives and friends.

While we are saddened by her departure, we find comfort in knowing she lives on in a brand-new body in heaven, free from pain, loved beyond measure, and able to watch over her family as they continue to grow until we meet again.
