Laura Leah
Ingram
Jun 4, 1965 — Sep 25, 2026
Norman, OK
LAURA LEAH INGRAM passed away September 25, 2026, in Norman, Oklahoma, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on June 4, 1965, to Glen and Sandy Ingram at ACH Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
After many stops along the way, her family relocated to the Wanamossa area where she attended grade school, then to Konawa Schools where she graduated in 1983. These schools provided her with the opportunity to forge friendships that lasted the rest of her life.
Laura later moved to Yreka, California where she worked for Edward D. Jones Investments. That launched her career in banking and finance. She spent many years as a bank manager for Arvest Bank in Norman. Near the end of her career she worked for Chase Bank. She was born determined and with an eye for detail. Of her many passions, decorating was near the top. She loved it and was a master designer. When she decorated for Christmas, she said it was for her grandchildren, but those who knew her understood that was only half true.
Laura loved her grandchildren and carried their pictures just in case anyone might ask to see them. She had a penchant for playing jokes and teasing her family and friends. Laura led by example, was a loyal friend, and enjoyed helping others.
Along the way, she met the love of her life and married Jeff Pilkington. After years of hard work, she received her just reward: love and happiness in abundance, for the rest of her life.
Laura was preceded in death by her sister, Patti Anne Palmer, February of 2026.
Laura is survived by her husband, Jeff Pilkington of Norman; parents, Sandy and Glen Ingram of Konawa; her daughter, Lauren Lester of Norman; her sister, Bea and husband Darrell Sarver of Eufaula; her nephew, Chris and Sarah Buclow and their sons Wes and Oliver of Owasso; her niece, Amanda Kaye Palmer, partner, Kelsi and son Jude of Oklahoma City; step-children, Lane and Michael Tinsley and their children Jack and Grace of Norman; Carly and Michael Donnell and their children Dillon, Owen, Olivia and Cade of Hurst, Texas; and Parker and Morris Pilkington of Denver, Colorado.
Not only will the grandchildren miss their “LaLa,” we all will as well.
A come and go celebration of life gathering of friends and family will be held on from 2-4pm, Saturday, October 17th at The Trails Golf Club located at 3200 South Berry Road Norman, OK 73072.
