John Joseph Spaight Jr., born September 22, 1945, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of those who cared for him. He was the son of John Joseph Spaight Sr. and Kathleen Allison (Morris) Spaight.

John was married to his wife, Martha “Marti” Jones. He worked as a telephone system consultant and took great pride in his work.

John enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hiking and camping. He will be remembered for his love of nature and the many memories he created with those close to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

John is survived by his wife, Marti one brother who resides in Florida; and one sister who resides in New York. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.
