Obituary

James Richard Waldrop III was born January 23, 1944, in Cohasset MA to Navy Seaman James Richard Waldrop Jr and his wife Carol of Cohasset MA.

Jim grew up in the Oklahoma City area, and had three children Deborah, Jim, and Traci. He worked hard supporting his family as a contractor at his business “Waldrop Contracting.” After selling his business, he continued to concentrate on commercial projects with the government, working across the entire US.. During this time Jim and wife Millie traveled extensively throughout the country while maintaining their home in Norman, OK

Jim earned his Black Belt in Karate and served for many years as a Deputy Sheriff for the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.

Jim accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age and lived a Christ centered exemplary life. He served as an elder with Crossroads Cathedral Church and joined Pastor Dan Shaffer on eight International Ministry trips to Africa. Jim was also a Gideon.

After retirement, Jim went into full-time ministry focusing on deliverance. His work was totally based on the Holy Bible which he read and studied daily for many years. He was able to help hundreds of people find peace through faith.

Survivors include his wife, Millie of the home; his daughter, Deborah Waldrop of Norman, OK; his son, Jim Waldrop, IV of Cary, NC; and his daughter, Traci Bowlware and her husband, Kevin of Oklahoma City; daughter Kathy Lenski and her husband, Joe of Mishawaka, IN; grandchildren; Stephenie Bowlware and her husband, Brandon Milligan, Sydney Pyle and her husband, Cody, Spencer Bowlware and his wife, Carley, Sasha Anderson and her husband, William; Sierra Waldrop, Savannah King and her husband, Kevin, Sheridian Waldrop, Aaron Lenski and his wife, Michelle, Anthony Lenski and his wife, Lisa, Joey Lenski and his wife, Katie, Karolyn Greenwood and her husband, Joel, Brittanie Jouris, and Christopher Brugh and his wife, Toni; great grandchildren Anderson Pyle, Pierson Pyle, Nixson JAMES Pyle, and Scarlett Waldrop; and numerous other great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; brothers; Charles Waldrop and his wife, Tracy of Oklahoma City; John Waldrop and his wife, Gloria of Oklahoma City; and one sister, Margaret Yanish and her husband, Bill Bezdek of Edmond, OK;

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, John Brugh and Robert Brugh
