It is with heavy hearts that the Worster family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of Jerry on July 7, 2025. Jerry was born to Dorothy Helen and Harry Lewis Worster in Berea, Ohio on August 14, 1949. He is predeceased by both of his parents; and survived by his children, Tristan Michael MacKenzie, 56, of Scotland (formerly Trish Worster) and Bradley Russell Worster, 52, of Norman and so many people whom he loved as family who loved him back. He was a quiet, gentle, kind, and profoundly faithful man who was saddened to leave his loved ones here, but as thrilled as a child on Christmas morning to finally meet Jesus face-to-face. Whilst we will miss his physical presence, we rejoice in knowing he is at peace with Our Father in Heaven. He expressly requested that there be no formal funeral nor memorial service for personal reasons; however, there will be an informal gathering to celebrate his life, grieve, share memories, and begin to heal in fellowship with all who knew and loved him. This will be held Friday, July 11th at The Boxcar, Railhouse Event Center, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The address there is 102 W. Eufala St, Norman, OK, 73069. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations to the charities he loved the most: your local foodbank, Homeless Alliance, Mission Norman, or any homeless shelter near you if you are from out of town. In Grace and Peace, the Worsters.
