Jenny Marie Bryan

Jennifer “Jenny” Marie Bryan, 45, revered as a pillar of strength and bravery, entered heaven’s gates December 30, 2024 following a courageous battle with breast cancer. Jenny was born November 1, 1979 in Norman, OK. After graduating from Norman High School, she went on to study special education at Northwestern University. Jenny was a big personality in a small package. She was inspirational, kind, loving, stubborn, a ball of fire that showed us what can be accomplished with determination and persistence.

Among Jenny’s most significant accomplishments was raising her 4 children, whom she held as her pride and joy. Jenny’s work ethic was second to none. In her early years, she found a way to pursue her passion for fitness by becoming an instructor at Cleveland County YMCA. She has been a protector her entire life with a servant’s heart which lead her to seek a career in law enforcement with Norman Police Department. She graduated in 2017 from the 54th academy of Norman Police Department and served for over eight years. Throughout her career, she exemplified integrity, courage, and unwavering commitment to her community earning numerous awards and commendations to include Officer of the Year 2020 and Police Medal of Valor in 2022.

Jenny is survived by her daughter Gracey Bryan; daughter Andey Bryan; son Tate Bryan; son Porter Bryan; Mom Kathy Jones Moody; brother Jeff Moody and wife Lindsey; niece and nephews Dexter and Nellie Moody; Mitch & LeAnne Bryan; Eric & Lynsey Von Holt; Hayden Von Holt; Adyson Von Holt; Hudson Von Holt. Jenny also leaves behind her brothers and sisters of law enforcement; extended family and numerous friends.

Jenny was preceded in death by her Dad Jim Moody; and grandparents Etta Auguleen and Luther Bryant. Jenny continued, even when sick or in pain, she never faltered in caring for her loved ones more than she did for herself. Her life served as a testament to her philosophy, “You can be a survivor or you can be a victim”.
