Gayle Annette Keyser, 78, of Lexington, OK, passed away on September 21, 2024, in Norman, OK. Born on February 6, 1946, in Oklahoma City, OK, she was the daughter of Lester Gaylen Byron and Josephine Frances Mesley.

Gayle was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Known for her heart of gold, she always offered a helping hand to those in need, often extending her kindness to strangers. Her love for her family was boundless, and while she could be stern at times, it was always rooted in her deep desire to protect them.

She enjoyed knitting, watching her favorite soap operas, and cherished the moments spent with her family. Gayle's warmth and thoughtfulness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Richard Mesley, and her beloved husband, Sonny Keyser. She is survived by her two sons, Bruce Salyer of Houston, TX, and Kelly Keyser and his wife Tina of Lexington, OK. Gayle is also remembered by her three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many friends who loved her dearly.

Come-and-go visitation for Gayle will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Tribute Memorial Care, 4300 W. Indian Hills Rd., Norman, OK 73072. Graveside burial will be on Friday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
