Deloris M Gritz

Deloris Mae Beneditti Gritz, 84 years old from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on March 7, 2025, at Arbor House Memory Care in Norman, Oklahoma.

Born in Enid Oklahoma to Ella Mae and Ted Beneditti, Deloris is survived by her two sons, James Roy Gritz from Las Vegas, Nevada and Jay Randall Gritz of Spring Lake, North Carolina.

Delores is survived by a brother, Frank Beneditti, two sisters, Teddy Worthington and Carolyn Seiter, as well as a host of relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, JoAnn Hopkins.

Dee, as she was known, attended college where she earned a master's degree in nursing which led her into teaching. She taught nursing at OCCC and also worked as a nurse at Baptist Memorial Hospital until retirement.

Dee wished to be cremated with her ashes spread on her son's property in NC. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
