Bruce Edward Stewart Sr., 83, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on February 12, 2024. He was preceded in death by father, Bert William Stewart II and mother, Margruette, siblings Bert Stewart, Bob Stewart (Kathy), Bonnie Clark (Ron). He will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years, Patti Stewart, son Bruce Stewart Jr. (Becky), daughter Kristy Stewart, daughter Kathy Stewart, son Jim Stewart (Kate), son Jason Stewart (Kristy); grandchildren Chris, Sarah McCorkle (Chris), Michael (Jordy), Jodie, Riley, Kayleigh; great granddaughter Zoe McCorkle, and Sister-in-law, Claudette Stewart.

Bruce has resided in Norman, Oklahoma for the past 26 years. He proudly served his community as a grocery store director for Albertsons in California, and then again as a laborer for Walmart in Oklahoma, prior to his second retirement. In his retirement he served the State of Oklahoma by volunteering his time to repair and restore the state cemetery for the mentally ill, he also faithfully served his church, Calvary Chapel of Norman, for the last 18 years.

In addition to spending time with his family and church family, Bruce found great joy in his garden and serving those around him. Above all else, he was passionate about his wife Patti. As long as she was by his side, his world was perfect.

A memorial service to honor Bruce will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of Norman, 1401 W Boyd St, Norman, Oklahoma. Please come as you are, wear what makes you comfortable.
