Bruce E Burkett

Bruce E. Burkett, 77, of Norman, passed away on August 23, 2025, in Norman. Services are entrusted to Tribute Memorial Care of Norman.

Born on July 6, 1948, in Sandusky, Ohio, to Edward Alfred and Darlene Helen (Massie) Burkett, Bruce lived a life filled with music, travel, and adventure. He had a passion for sharing his love of music and spent much of his life playing in venues across the United States, creating lasting memories with those who heard him perform.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Debbie Wagoner.

He is survived by his son, Brian Burkett; daughter, Bridgit Burkett; his brother, Wayne Burkett and wife, Elaine; along with many friends and loved ones who will cherish his memory.
