Barry Dale Sullivan died Sept 12, 2019, in his hometown and beloved community of Norman.
He often told the tales of proud moments on the gridiron at Norman High and still cheered on his alma mater OU at every turn.
He had great success in equipment sales within the construction industry, because he could always connect with people and had the gift of conversation. His friends will recall his gregarious storytelling and a laugh that could be heard across the room.
A smile hit his face with every opportunity to drop a line in the pond or get in a tree stand. He would find his greatest joy in supporting his children. Letting his daughter know that her knack for defense in soccer came from him and watching his son hit or shoot a ball meant everything. He was their biggest fan.
Barry is survived by his wife Andi (Poppe), son Connor and daughter Callie; parents Dale and Judy Sullivan of Norman; brother Tim and wife Nadia of Parker, Colo., and children Emma Veilleux and husband Mason, Braden, Gabriel and Jarod; and sister-in-law Dawn Sullivan of Denver as well as his wife’s family and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Immanuel Baptist Church 1777 East Robinson St. Norman, OK 73071 under the direction Tribute Memorial Care. www.tribute.care
