Trevor Lane Lawrence was born October 17, 1971 in Oklahoma City. He was welcomed into Heaven unexpectedly on November 10th, 2020 at the age of 49.
His early years were spent in Enid, Oklahoma, where he developed his love for wrestling and competed in several state championship matches. In 9th grade the family moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, where Trevor began his new relationship with the game of golf. Trevor graduated from Rider High School, class of 1990. Following high school, he attended Texas Tech, Midwestern State University, and later graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. He was a proud member of the Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity.
After eight years in the pharmaceutical industry as a sales representative, Trevor joined State Farm Insurance Company. Having his own agency for nearly eighteen years, he was able to serve his many friends and customers in the Norman area. He loved being an agent and helping people.
Trevor was a very devoted family man. He and his wife, Cathy, shared twenty-one wonderful years of unconditional love together. Their proudest moment and accomplishment was the birth of their daughter, Gracie. As a family, they attended McFarlin United Methodist Church. They enjoyed many vacations together and summers at Lake Tenkiller.
Trevor and Cathy were both avid golfers and loved spending time with friends at Belmar Golf Club. His buddies at the club often called him “Chicken Sticks” as a nickname.
He was preceded in death by his father; Benny Lawrence. Trevor is survived by the loves of his life; Cathy and Gracie Lawrence, his mother; Barbara Cooke, sister; Sunny Baldridge and husband, Eric, and a whole host of nieces and nephews.
Trevor always had an infectious smile and an engaging personality. He “never met a stranger” and was always very generous with his time and money. Trevor will be sorely missed, but never forgotten!
