Tammy had a long-standing reputation as a media and marketing professional for over three decades in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. As an entrepreneur, she established her own media buying firm, TB Ad Media, in 1978. She initially built her reputation on handling media for political candidates and later became well known for her work with auto dealerships, special events and entertainment venues in Texas, including Scarborough Faire. In 1981, she brought on a close friend, Pam Jones, who helped her grow the business through 1989. After rebranding her company as EM&M (Events, Media & Marketing), Tammy continued to be involved the media industry, providing free-lance services to individual clients as well as local advertising agencies, for media buying and planning, public relations and event management. She later expanded into radio broadcast sales. In 1990, she opened a local radio rep office for Schubert Radio Sales, selling broadcast air time for multiple radio stations. She later worked for Univision Radio/HBC and ABC Radio, selling for stations in the DFW metroplex.
Tammy was very proud when she received her 15 year “chip” commemorating her 15 years of Sobriety on 7/25/2022. She was very grateful for the support of the many friends she made at “The Gift” in Irving, Texas.
In 2011, Tammy moved to Norman Oklahoma to be closer to her daughter Katie, son-in-law T.J. and new grandson, Bronx. Once established there, she began a new career, working at Griffin Memorial Hospital, providing direct care to psychiatric patients.
