Sanjay Shankar Patel

Sanjay was born on August 8, 1963 to Maniben Patel and Shankarbhai Patel in Mumbai India.

He moved to Norman in 1986 to pursue a degree at the University of Oklahoma. While attending college, Sanjay took a part time job, at Dunkin Donuts where he eventually began his entrepreneur career. Later on he started the Best Western Hotel and Classen Convenience Store.

Sanjay was proceeded in death by father Shankar Patel. Survivors include his wife, Dipti Patel; daughters, Shaila and Shaina Patel; mother, Maniben Patel; Sisters Ranjan and Smita Patel and Brother Ajit Patel.
