Robert Marsey Hill passed away Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma. He was born June 21st, 1950 to Simpson and Elizabeth Hill in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On August 8th, 1988 he married Tamara Sadler in Norman, Oklahoma. Robert enjoyed hunting with his father, traveling with his wife, and was an overly dedicated father.

Survivors include his wife Tamara; daughter Melissa Harker, and her husband Matthew; His stepson Aaron Sadler, and his wife Nicole Sadler.

Siblings; Jerry Hill and Blanche Record; as well as many nieces and nephews that shared the best of times with Robert.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chebon Hill.

Robert worked his life schedule around Melissa to ensure she never had to want for anything. He believed strongly in education and strived to get her into the best schools possible, even if it meant an early morning, thirty-minute commute, 5 days a week.

I (Melissa) remember being at a soccer tournament and wanting a particular soccer ball, a pink Vizari leather soccer ball, without hesitation my dad said, grab it. That same weekend we also adopted a puppy. I just had to have it.

He wanted me to be happy, always and forever.

I can feel his spirit with me, its peaceful, strong and comforting. The distance between us is no cause for worry, he lives through me.

For those who are tearful, my dad would say "quit cryin' around" as he said to me many times. My "Dad-o" is in paradise and to quote him, again, he would say to us "I'm livin' large" with a big thumbs up. Dad, I love you but you already knew that. Thank you for all you've taught me.
It's my time to run with it.
-Melissa
