Richard L. "Rick" Henning

Richard L. “Rick” Henning was born June 12, 1959 in Los Angeles, California to James H. and Hazel O. (Thompson) Henning. He passed away in Norman, Oklahoma May 6, 2021.
He was a proud citizen of the Chickasaw Nation. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening (both flowers and vegetables), landscaping and listening to music (especially Rock & Roll and Country). Glen Campbell and Johnny Cash were a couple of his favorite artists. He had a love for animals, especially cats and dogs. Lastly, Rick was an avid O.U. SOONERS football fan!
Rick was preceded in death by his father, James H. “Jim” Henning. He is survived by his mother, Hazel O. Henning of Lexington, OK; brothers, Randy W. Henning, J.D. and wife Dorothy J. of Norman, OK., Douglas E. Henning and wife Robin of Cole, OK; uncle, Tommy Henning and wife Sandra of Lexington, OK; aunt’s, Venus Green and husband Bob of San Antonio, TX., Minnie Sue Hooper of Phoenix, AZ., Oleta Marie Irby of Lexington, OK; and many numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and friends.
