Philip Madden

Philip Richardson Madden III was born on May 11, 1947 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was the oldest of four children, born to Homer (Boots) Richardson Madden and Ora Ann (Eiklor) Madden. Philip passed away on December 19, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma. He was raised in Holdenville, graduating from Holdenville High School in 1965 along with some of his closest friends, “The Magnificent 5.” After high school, he joined The National Guard and then went on to attend Okmulgee Art School, graduating with a degree in advertising art. Philip worked for Southwestern Bell and retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed Louise L'Amour books, old cars, nascar, and very spicy chili. Philip was preceded in death by his parents, Boots and Ann Madden. He is survived by his brothers, sister, children, grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.
A memorial service in Philip’s honor will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 2 p.m. at New Life Bible Church in Norman, Oklahoma.
