Odessa Lorraine Creger

Odessa Lorraine Creger was born on August 24, 1929 to Luther and Pearl Courtright in Walters, Oklahoma. She married Ted Creger of Norman on April 30, 1954 and the couple made their home in Norman for the rest of their lives. Odessa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Wayne & J.L. Courtright, and sister Wanda Jacobson.

She is survived by children Rick and wife Shawn of Norman, Steve and wife Linda of Houston, TX, Cindy of Norman, and Mike and wife Tracy of Oklahoma City. In addition she is survived by grandchildren Meredith Snavely and husband Stephen of Los Angeles, Nathan Creger and spouse Christopher of Norman, Alyssa Creger, Haley McDaniel, and Bryce McDaniel all of Oklahoma City, great-grandchildren Emerson and Owen Snavely of Los Angeles, numerous nieces and nephews, and a number of people who knew her simply as Grandma Creger.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 10th at Immanuel Baptist Church in Norman (1777 E. Robinson) with interment to follow at IOOF Cemetery.
