Marshall Verron Howard

Marshall Verron Howard was born November 3, 1932 in Mt. Vernon, IL to A.D. and Reva (Chambliss) Howard. Marshall passed on December 21, 2020 in Norman, OK.
Marshall enlisted into the United States Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant with the Oklahoma Air National Guard. Marshall married Shirley J. Bayles in 1950 and went on to serve the Lord in various churches across Oklahoma. Shirley passed away from Alzheimer’s in 1997. Marshall retired from full time ministry as an Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church of Moore, OK.
In 2001 Marshall married Delores Webb and they made their home in Oklahoma City until Delores’ death in 2017. Marshall was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City and was a man who centered his life on God, family, and friends.
Survivors include son, Mike Howard and wife Candy of Sayre, daughter, Marsha Burridge of Oklahoma City, daughter in law, Donna Howard of Norman, daughter in law, Melody Toma of Chandler and Delores’ daughters, Karen Henchcliffe of Amarillo, Nancy Davis of Houston, and Kimberly Boschman of Dallas. Grandchildren Juliet Hill, Rebecca Bichsel, Ryan Howard, Jennifer Foulk, Justin Foulk, Jacey Howard, Dillon Howard, Emily McClellan, Amber Spencer, Chris Howard, Randee Gray, Karlee Howard, and host of Great Grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Shirley and wife Delores, Marshall was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, A.D. Jr and Robert, and three sons, Mark, Steve, Stuart, and daughter in law Rhonda.
Family will be present to receive friends for visitation and viewing from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at Tribute Memorial Care in Norman. A memorial service will be set for a later time.
Memorials may be made in memory of Marshall to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers.
