Gladys Lee Augustine

Gladys Lee (Jackson) Augustine was born April 9, 1921 in Acme, Texas to Leroy Jackson and Kitty (Stephens) Jackson. She passed from this life and into the arms of Jesus on September 8, 2020.
She was gentle and she was a soft spoken woman who worked in a man’s world. Through the years she was a homemaker, worked at a bank and was also a telegrapher agent with the Frisco Railroad company.
Gladys was preceded in death by her husband; Frank Augustine, Neal Garland Veatch, son; Harry Veatch, and her parents.
She was survived by her son; Orren “Syd” Veatch, her daughter; Mary Hawkins, grandchildren; Sheree Cave, Ryan Hawkins, and Leigh Cella, and three great grandchildren.
