Gary M. Hutton

November 4, 1952 — November 25, 2021

Gary Michael Hutton, age 69, passed away on November 25, 2021 in Moore, Oklahoma. Gary was born November 4, 1952 to Richard Allen Hutton and Georgia Lee Moon in Oklahoma City.
Gary attended school in Norman and graduated from Norman High School in 1971. Gary met the love of his life, Margaret “Madge” Rollins at West Junior High. They married December 23, 1971. Madge preceded him in death on October 2, 2019. They raised two children Bryan and Jennifer. Bryan and Jennifer blessed them with seven grandchildren: Karlee, Payton, Jace, Casen, Ricky, Destiny and Tyler. Gary loved his family and enjoyed taking care of them. He would talk about how much he enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up. A very special memory was when he and Madge took all the family to Disney World.
Gary began his working career at the first McDonalds in Norman. He worked at several fast-food chains before becoming a Heat/Air Technician and Broiler Mechanic. Gary worked at OU Medical Center; Hillcrest Hospital and St. Anthony’s Hospital where he retired in 2017. Gary was also a member of the Army National Guard. He retired from the military after serving over 25 years.
At a very early age Gary became interested in flying. His dad was a crop duster and would take Gary with him at times. Even though Gary never received his pilot’s license he did enjoy being the assistant pilot for his dad. I am sure at times he was the pilot. Gary was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He took several cross-country trips on his Harley. Gary loved going on rides and seeing the country. He also said the HD (Harley Davidson) stood for Hundred Dollars because anything you bought was a hundred dollars.
Gary was preceded in death by his wife; paternal and maternal and grandparents; parents; brothers Rick and Scott.
He is survived by his son Bryan and wife Brenda; daughter Jennifer and husband Josh. Grandchildren: Karlee, Payton, Jace, Casen, Ricky, Destiny and Tyler; Brother Jason and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
