Doris Maxine Sawyer

Maxine Sawyer was born April 12, 1936 and passed February 29, 2016. She lived in Norman most of her life.

She enjoyed traveling, going to the casino with her nieces, mowing her lawn with her JD mower, having lunch with her old high school friends, and in the past year visiting with her “helpers” at Holiday Heights and Valir.

Maxine is preceded in death by her best friend and partner for over 40 years, George Diehm; parents Birl and Dovie Craig; sister Eleanor Marti; brothers A.B. Craig and Sam Craig.
She is survived by: son Bill Sawyer and wife Stephanie; grandson Drake Sawyer, all from Port Aransas, TX; lots of nieces, a nephew, family, and friends.
