Digna Rosana Mathews

Digna Rosana Mathews was born September 22, 1936 in Panama City, Panama to Angelica (Alverado) Spector. She left this earthly life to spend eternity with her Lord and Savior December 12, 2020.
She was a member of Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Norman. Her hobby was Animal Rescue.
Digna was preceded in death by her mother, stepfather; Irving Spector and brother; Herbert Spector. She is survived by her only son; Lieutenant Colonel Theodore “Ted” Ashford, brother; Norman Spector, sister; Sarah West, sister: Helen, grandchildren; Nicholas and Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, Digna’s family ask that donations be made in her honor to the Norman Animal Welfare Shelter at 3428 Jenkins Ave., Norman.
