On March 2, 2021 after a long battle with Cancer the Lord said “Well done my good and faithful servant. Let's go home.”
Deborah was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Donald and Mazell Ligon, she is the second oldest of five. She was the best wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend anyone could ask for. She had a passion for serving people and that she did. She was a God-fearing woman and loved the Lord with all her heart. She spent the majority of her life serving in the Lord’s Ministry. She went on mission trips to Chile and Panama City with Trinity Baptist Church. She also was the office administrator for Crosspointe Church. She was a “jack of all trades”. She was
one of the biggest Oklahoma Sooners football fans which she took her grandson
Caleb and son Mark to each home game. Deborah adored her family and was “Nana” to eleven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister; Donna Kinum, grandfather; George Ritter, grandmother; Opal Ritter, grandfather: Walter Suggs, grandmother: Ola Suggs, brother-in-law; Bill McKiddy, brother-in-law: Bob McKiddy; brother-in-law; Keith Wilhite and her dear friend; Charlotte Crawford.
She is survived by her husband; Lawrence “Junior” McKiddy of Norman, OK, son; Mark McKiddy of Norman, OK, son; Kevin McKiddy and wife Leslie of Norman, OK, daughter; Michelle McKiddy of Norman, OK, daughter; Allison Wallace of OKC, OK, father; Donald Ligon of Dallas, TX, mother; Mazell Ligon of Dallas, TX, sister; Teri Ramsey and husband Ronnie of Dallas, TX, brother; Mike Ligon and wife, Jeannie of McAlester, OK, brother: Douglas Ligon of Dallas, TX, sister-in-law; Betty Winkle and husband, Jerry of Norman, OK, sister-in-law: Paula McKiddy of Norman, OK, sister-in-law: Laura George and husband, Greg of Lexington, OK, sister-in-law: Nancy Baca and husband, Lawrence of San Antonio, TX, sister-in-law: Mary McKiddy of Hot Springs, AR, and her grandchildren; Caleb McKiddy-Alarkon, Isaiah Terronez, Timothy Terronez, Kevin Jr (KJ), Gracelynn, Emma McKiddy and Christian McCarthey, Ellesee Idle, Britton Stowell, Matthew and Brayden Chambers. There are also numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and many dear friends.
