Cas Denton Shockley

Cas Denton Shockley (94) passed away on March 24, 2018. He was born to Z.A. Shockley and Bertie May (Pickens) Shockley at Chickalah, Yell County, Arkansas on October 22, 1923.

Cas was a farm hand for his father in his youth, and later was an automobile body repairman.

Cas was preceded in death by his second wife, Pauline, his parents, one sister, and three brothers.

Cas is survived by: his children Gary (Janice) Shockley, Dennis (Margaret) Shockley, and Cheryl (Mike) Trent; grandchildren Jana (Steve) Holcomb, Gayla (Robert) McDow, and Jimmie Shockley; great-grandchildren Blakely, Keelin, Raylei, and Audrey; one sister-in-law; three nephews; three nieces; and the mother of his children, Alvena Johnson.
