Brandon Keith Mccorkle

Brandon Keith McCorkle was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on August 14, 1995 to Laura McCorkle. He was taken too soon on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the age of 20.

Brandon had a gentle, giving, and loving soul. He was a talented artist, specializing in drawing. He loved skateboarding and rocking out to the oldies and new alternative music. Brandon loved fishing, cooking and Harry Potter. He loved to play games with his friends and family, especially Wahoo, dominoes, and poker. Brandon lived for his family, and some of his favorite memories included bowling with his cousins and the family trip to Disney World.

Brandon was a born-again Christian with a servant heart. He regularly helped those in need, from growing his hair out for Locks of Love to volunteering at Veteran’s Corner to working with children with Cerebral Palsy.

Brandon is survived by: his mother, Laura; grandparents: Bob and Mary Lou McCorkle; Uncle Michael and Aunt Melinda McCorkle; Aunt Belinda and Uncle Brian Calvin; cousins: Christopher McCorkle and wife Sarah, Joshua McCorkle and wife Sarah, Casey Fisher, Brianna Calvin, Zoe McCorkle, and Mollie Custar.

Brandon had a love for animals, and his family knows that he would be thrilled to know that memorial donations were made in his name to Second Chance Animal Sanctuary or the Bella Foundation. Donations may also be made in Brandon’s name to Locks of Love, Veteran’s Corner, or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation of your choice. Please see below for donation information.
