Billy Edward Silkwood

Billy E. Silkwood was born October 16, 1934 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Edward and Ollie Silkwood.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1952 and served in Pooson, Korea and was honorably discharged in 1960. After the military he worked at the post office in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He retired after 32 years of service.
Billy and his wife were lake Thunderbird gate tenants in Oklahoma part of the year for fun and snowbirds who enjoyed going to the Gulf the rest of the time. He loved fishing and he LOVED his grandchildren immensely. He was a loving husband, father and a wonderful grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife; son Edward and his wife Kimberly; grandchildren Rayanna Reidy and husband Kevin, Justin Silkwood and wife Candace, plus one great grandchild Tessa.
