Obituary for Anya Harper Salazar

Anya Harper Salazar was born on September 17, 2012 to Diana and Luke Salazar. She joined the Lord in heaven on March 21, 2020.
She picked up her love of music from her parents. She loved Christmas music so much that she taught herself to play Joy to the World on her piano. She also took guitar lessons with her father.
Anya felt very close to her people. She adored her granny Terri, loved using her imagination with her sister, Annika, and she made many memories with her best friend Aria Wilson. She loved going to school and was very fond of her Dragon Family at Jefferson Elementary, where she was a first grader. Anya attended Wildwood Community Church. She always looked forward to going to church and talking about God.
Anya was a playful little girl. She loved those close to her to use her nickname, "Beanie." Her favorite subject to talk about was cats. She enjoyed reading, running, drawing, playing Minecraft, and going to the playground. Her favorite was the swings. Her favorite movies were the Frozen and Pirates of The Caribbean series. She had many stuffed animals, her favorite was her bunny Mim-Mim.
Anya was survived by her parents Luke and Diana Salazar; older sister Annika Salazar; her maternal grandfather Derek Gillespie of Lexington, OK; paternal grandfather Gregory Young of Arlington, VA; grandmother Terri Salazar of Norman; uncle Cory Salazar of Norman; and great-grandmother Jeanette Coker of Norman; and paternal great-grandparents Cornelia and Gerald Young of Sacramento CA.
She will be joining in Heaven her maternal great-grandmother Clara (Gigi) Oldman and her great-grandfather Raymond Salazar
